If asked-- what do you think about Amsterdam.
Sex,drugs and canals probably is your answer. Well that`s a not too far from the truth. There are so many beautiful canals,lovely boats and flowers every where.The entertainment is great and if you enjoy a beer or three it`s a perfect city for you.

Legal prostitution in Amsterdam is available in the Red light District.
The girls stand at their open windows. There are many tours available telling you all about the district . I would not bother. It is easy to find for yourself and you are able to wander about. It is one of the city's biggest draws.Please be very careful visiting this part of the city at night.

There are pickpockets around in the area and anyone visiting Amsterdam
should keep a close eye on their valuables. Usual safety rules for most big cities.
Amsterdam is known for its liberal attitude to cannabis.Despite what you may think, cannabis is not really legal in the Netherlands. The correct word is ‘gedoogd’, which roughly translates to ‘tolerated’.
There are coffee shops at every corner. These cafes are licensed to sell
Cannabis. 5 grams per sale and smoke it inside . There are green and white stickers in the window. They sell the normal Starbuck`s menu but also soft drugs.
