Day1 Monday
This short break was to our favourite Caravan park. Berwick upon Tweed. Gee bee, Mrs B and myself left on Monday morning. Andrew and Laura joined us on Tuesday night.
We left home about eleven. Stop in Dunbar for lunch.
At night we went to the Italian restaurant Limoncello for dinner.
It is on Hidehill in the town Centre. Great atmosphere and the food was good too.

We stayed at the Seaview 21. Right on the sea front. Great accommodation with a view. We got a bargain on the Haven website.
Day2 Tuesday
Walk to Lighthouse. Then a walk along the River Tweed past the three bridges. Leaping Salmon for lunch.
Dinner at Clubhouse awaiting Andrew and Laura.

Day3 Wednesday
After breakfast we walked along the footpath on the side of the local Golf course. We were invited to the watch tower. You have to climb the steep steps to the the viewing floor. It was worth it. Great views
Berwick Coast watch is an independent organization run entirely by volunteers. Nice people. After that we walk along the pier to the Lighthouse.

Day4 Thursday
We had a trip out of Berwick. Along the North sea coast down to the town of Bamburgh to see it s 11th century castle. Impressive

Holy Island can only be reached by a causeway. You must check tidal times. Its on Northeast coast of Northumberland. Great drive
We had lunch at the Crown and Anchor on the Holy Island.
At night the ladies went for dinner at the super cool Foxtons Winebar and Restaurant. Which is on Hidehill in Berwick town centre. The guys went to the Red Lion to watch some football.
Finished the night by having a few beers in the Freetrade bar.

Day5 Friday Homeward bound
After saying goodbye to Andrew and Laura we left our site and headed
to the Golf club for breakfast. We all like it in there.
They have a great way of ordering what you would like.
They give you a sheet of paper and you tick off the items you want.
The foods good too. We stopped of in Traquir for a break.
Home in time for tea.

Great fun was had by all. Hopefully return to Berwick next year.
