2023 -Finally I got to ride the Edinburgh tram. Taking it to Newhaven Leith. I walked back to the city.
The day started with a city link coach to Edinburgh Airport. No problems at all. You may ask why the Airport? Well. The trams start from there. The terminus is there. I did the whole trip.
My film above will show you the highlights. It passes Murryfield stadium, Haymarket and Princess street. The three main hubs for connecting transport routes.
The whole journey is 5-kilometre (11.5 miles). It Began operation 31 May 2014.The extension to Newhaven began 2023.  My trip costs
£7.50. Not that cheap compared with the local bus but it was faster and more comfortable.

Aye I was a bit doon. I was annoyed. The ticket collector told two tourists that the next stop was Haymarket . Where they could get a train to Glasgow. It was nowhere near it. They jumped off and clicked that it was the wrong station. One got back on. The other got stranded. Not a great way to show our visitors.

I did enjoy the experience. When would I use it .I don`t know.
