How to get there-City centre-Queen st train station.
From George square-The street next to right side of the City Chambers.Keep walking and you will see it after ten minutes.

- From the front door. Walk forward then turn left and Step down into the crypt. Which was built in the mid-1200s to house the tomb of St Mungo (St Kentigern).
Majority of the current building dates back to the 15th century.
Look out for the 19th-century-stained glass from Munich that once adorned the windows but was removed in the 20th century due to the fading colours. It`s thought the Scottish weather got the better of them.
Glasgow Necropolis is a Victorian cemetery.One of the largest green spaces in the city centre and deserves at least a couple of hours of your time. There are tens of thousands of graves and over 3,000 tombs, and the Gothic site is not as creepy as you might expect.

Sadly knocked down this year. Was a great place to take tourists back in time.
Trongate Well worth a visit.
