Lots of people turn their noses up at caravan holidays.Well there missing out.
The van has all the mod cons. Some even have two showers.three bedrooms and decking so you can sit and enjoy a meal outside in the sunshine.

We have travelled far and wide but there is something special about staying in a caravan for a few days. The rain might be stoating down-- the wind may be moving the van from side to side or we running out of milk- I love it.
The entertainment is old school.Good for the kids and parents who have kids but not for a couple wanting a quiet break. Our last caravan holiday was to Tummel Valley site in Perthshire Scotland. The club house had great food and expensive drink. The kids were crazy but having tons of fun. So don`t let me put families off.
The actual site was in a beautiful setting. What a base for exploring Perthshire area.

Out of all the caravan sites we have stayed at we like Berwick upon Tweed the best.Really because it so close to the town and there are lots of lovely walks.
With the state of the Travel industry the prospect of driving straight from your home to your holiday is very appealing.Your luggage straight out of the boot and no need for passport, foreign currency or chance of dodgy tummies.
