La Corbiere Lighthouse
- The lighthouse sits on the most south-westerly point on the Island of Jersey.
- It was build in 1873 and first lit in 1874.
- The name is said to come from the word “corbîn“ and means “the place of crows” or “where crows gather”.
- La Corbiere was the first reinforced concrete lighthouse built in the British Isles.
