North Frisian Island March 2024
Amrum was the highlight of my trip to Northern Germany.
It's one of the North Frisian Islands on the North Sea coast.
You don't see many British tourists here. In fact we seen none.
I had never heard of Amrum till we started planning the trip.

We took the Ferry over with Ms Nordfriesland.
It cost 21 euros per person.
Amrum is really special place. A charming small island with endless sandy beaches and dense sand dune landscapes. We took the local transport to the end of the island. Next up we wandered through the quaint village of Norddorf. Very picturesque town cente. Then we headed to take in some fresh North Sea air at the local beach.

Amrum has one of the nice beaches called "Kniepsand" and the climatic conditions are very good for people who have breathing difficulties. I suffer from Asthma. The fresh air certain filled your lungs.
The team struggled up some of the sand dunes. Fun was had by all.
