Love the barges and sailing boats docked at the Forth and Clyde Canal and the opening to the river Clyde. Here you get a great view down the Clyde and up to Erskine Bridge. The Forth & Clyde Canal flows from Bowling to the Forth at Grangemouth, and is joined by the Union Canal at Falkirk.
Going, we walked through the Lusset Glen down to Old Kilpatrick. Through the village and on to Bowling.Return we walked along the canal cycle path. We were going to walk through the Saltings but was too muddy. At these sad times local can be cool.
