Comrie is a small village. There is a pub and lovely main street. We were there to see the famous The Devil's Caldron. We were not disappointed.
I would call Comrie a kind a stopping place on route to somewhere else. 

 South of Comrie is Cultybraggan 
World War II there was Prisoner of war camp. 
This housed mainly Italian and  German. The famous  Rudolf Hess was imprisoned within the camp overnight. It was a black camp for staunch Nazis.

The Devil's Cauldron has a legend that there is water-elf called Uris-chidh who lures victims to a watery death.
