New Year new Roadtrip
eft Clydebank around 11.30. It was later than normal departure so we didn`t have time to go too far.
We agreed on my choice of going to Loch Katrine via
Aberfoyle.

It was a strange kind of day. Not wet but I felt the rain was not far away. We drove north along the Stockiemuir Road passed the Queensview. Our first stop was Aberfoyle. From our house it took around 45 minutes. We decided to have lunch in the Forth Inn. Not far from the carpark. Food was good. I had the haggis panini. A Scottish Italian roll. Loved it.
After a quick look round the village we headed to Loch Katrine. You have to drive up the Dukes Pass. Please note if you go straight on you will end up in Inversnaid on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. Another great roadtrip.
Today we take the Dukes pass. Great places to stop and take images. The fog on hills was different. Next sight we see is Ben Ann. With the zoom on my camera you can spot walkers on the peak.
It takes around 15 mins From Aberfoyle to reach the Loch. We parked in the visitor`s carpark and we walked along the shore. The views are good but not perfect due to the dull weather. Great to see how busy the walkway was. There were many tourists from all over the world.
Hope the images give you a wee idea of our first road trip of 2017.
