International Drive--[also known as I-Drive] is 11.1-mile long. Hopefully my Images give you an insight into what the drive is like.
It was the first place I ever enjoyed all-you-can eat buffet.
Pondarosa,Sizzler and Western Steer were our favourites.
It is handy for Universal Orlando® Resort. Lots of hotels run shuttles.
Taxi is not that expensive.I trolley is fun and takes all the way down to Sea World.

I Hop was our favourite place for breakfast. Pancakes to die for. So many great places to eat for dinner. Steak houses were super. Millers was our favourite. It`s at the Orlando pointe.
Long horns steakhouse was amazing. The ribs were amazing.
Dennys is seen everywhere- a normal fast food joint.

The top of I drive is the old Beltz shopping centre now know as Orlando International Premium Outlets- Bottom is Sea world.
Shopping--Not as cheap as it was due to the value of the pound against the dollar. There are still some bargains to be had.

largest observation wheel on the east coast. This continuously moving wheel takes passengers on a 20 minute flight,Great views of the Orlando skyline.
Eat all you can breakfast Blog.
The first time we were in Orlando we discovered something we had never encountered before. This was new to us.
Let me tell you our story. We flew into Sanford and took a taxi to International Drive. We were staying at the Comfort inn across the road from Wet and Wild.
After throwing our bags in we go out for a wander. After a while we decided we have supper before getting the kids to their bed.
We joined the queue for Dennys. Great wee hamburger joint. They took our names and we stood outside awaiting our call. After a short while one of waitress shouts out MR BEERD-Mr.Beard. The kids found this funny. As I went in I explained my second name is Baird mam. OK Mr BEERD lol. Dennys was brill. We all enjoyed it. We were not used the special attention we were given.
The next morning we were up sharp due to Jet lag.
This is when we experienced something we had never had before.
Eat all you can breakfast. YES - eat anything on the menu for free. We chose Sizzler. Which was right across from our hotel. Not sure if it`s still there now.
The Western Steer and the Ponderosa also did this offer.
After waiting in a short queue we went in to see trays and trays of fried food. There was even fries [chips].
This was the first we had pancakes for breakfast.
Some of the people are huge. I mean huge. They had pyramids of food on their plates. The kids loved it. Wee bits of this and wee bits of that. The waffles were my favourite. Love trying new things. Grinned when I saw a large gentleman stuffing his face with icecream at 7.00am in the morning.
Nowadays this idea has crossed the Atlantic but it never seems to be the same.
Cruise ships have the canteen style 'eat all you can'. Alot more posh.
After your first special breakfast. You may have another the following day.I think by the third day you maybe fed up of feeling bagged up for most of the day.
Warning- The food may be cheap but the drinks could be expensive.
