So you can`t get a room in Amsterdam or you can`t afford city digs. Why not try the town of Hertogenbosh. Also known as Den Bosch. A lovely wee town with a population of 140,000. Our base for our May 2018 visit to Holland.
Just over an hour to Amsterdam and about 25 mins from Edinhoven.There is an old town with tons of bars and places to eat. We enjoyed a couple of long nights in De Uilenburg area of Den Bosch. This is the most popular part for us tourists. When we were in town there was a Jazz festival on.
The popular De Parade is a square right in the centre of town.Superb place for lunch.
Very compact,Great culture and canal walks.
