How to get there
A beautiful drive up.Sun was rising high in the sky as we passed Loch Lomond. We drove through Tyndrum.Passed the Bridge of Orchy hotel and onto the Pipers car park.
Everyone stops here to take a few photographs of the stunning view.

You drive through the Rannochmoor passed the Ski centre. Now you have to get ready to lookout for the hotel on the other side of the road.
Cross road and drive for a few minutes and you are at the Kingshouse.
One of the great roadtrips of our wonderful country.

Now for reason we headed north. It was to see the new hotel. It was always a bit run down.A bit like the Drovers but that kind of added to the atmosphere of the place.
A bit like taking you back in time.I always liked the place and the food and drink were good.

The new has everything you would expect from top class place to stay. The highlight for me was the new panoramic windows. The outlook is a amazing. Looking out to the mountains. The deer are still there.
The new Kingy is posh with the new trendy beers they sell in the Westend of Glasgow. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly.Sad I never heard a lot of Scottish voices to add to the atmosphere.

Do I like the new hotel better than the old.Time will tell.
The history has gone.180 years of climbing and hillwalking tradition has gone. The place needed upgrading and work done to move forward but have they made it too modern for the passing walkers and the tourist looking for a real Scottish places to stay.

They have really struggle to recreate the old atmosphere but now a days people want modern facility's.So I cant make a decision on old or
