I must start with my homeland. Scotland. We have so many beautiful lochs. The locals get very angry with tourists when they call a loch a lake. Irish call them Loughs. Be warned.

April 3rd 2015 I had the pleasure of doing a #Lochathon. Where you try to visit as many lochs in one day. Funday. We bagged 12. No mean feat.

We only had an overnight stay but we had time to admire the stunning scenery.

Slovenia highlight. Lake Bled. We had a wonderful break in a hotel a few yards from the banks of the Bled. We even had a swim in it`s cold waters. The church in the middle of the lake adds to its beauty.
