Inversnaid Eastshore of Loch Lomond
Another wonderful village to visit on the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
Inversnaid -- 15-miles from Aberfoyle on a bumpy road. There is a large hotel which is very popular with coach tours. The hotel was built in 1790 for the Duke of Montrose as a hunting lodge. The West Highland Way passes the lochside here.
Please note it`s not the best road in the world.

Inversnaid is in the heart of a area in Scotland called the Trossachs. The drive from Aberfoyle takes you passed Loch Chon,Loch Katrine,Loch Artlet and down into the village. Beautiful.
Arklet Falls [Inversnaid falls] are to the right of the hotel. The Arklet Burn, which flows from Loch Arklet, falls into Loch Lomond via a lovely waterfall which is spanned by a foot bridge.
