Well-Not the highlight of our trip to the Algarve. We walked along Gare beach to  Armação de Pêra. It was a beautiful day. We had walked in the sea part of the way. Really enjoyable day. 
After our walk we had to dry our wet feet. So walked up to the wall next to the main road. 
​I straddled the wall but had to swerve a glass tumbler which made me clip the wall and I fell across the road.   

As you can see it was no fun. I got expensive bandages of the local chemist. Blood was still rushing out but got a change of plaster which helped. When I got home I sent images of my leg to the doctors. He said it was infected and put me on Antibiotics. 
​Sore but fit aeough for the beach next day.

Antigua Mossie bites
