After months of staying in your own region [due to this terrible pandemic] we finally get to escape.We can travel anywhere in Scotland.What a super day we had. Left early doors. Travelled along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond .The roads were n`t as busy as I thought.

The sun was shinning and big loch was looking braw. Next we passed the famous Drovers inn.Sad to see no action there.Hopefully it won`t be long before we can enjoy a beverage in there.Now the road starts to climb and the mountains are getting higher.   

Our first stop was the Real Cafe in Tydrum. After a online time wasting procedure we get our rolls and bacon. They were brill and tom sauce too.
Worth the wait. Then it`s on to Bridge of Orchy. Here we park in hotel carpark. The hotel was shut but it was great see it again after such a long time.

So many people have suffered so much.Heartbreaking stories .These times will never be forgotten but hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
We decide to walk over the bridge and walk part of the West highland way to Inveroran .The scenery is special.Even go as far as spectacular.Great plus point is the lack of humans.We only seen about eight people all the time we were on the way. The walk is easy and about three miles there and three miles back.
There are great views of Loch Tulla ,the Black Mount and back to Beinn Dorain. Which towers high above Bridge of Orchy.​ 

After our walk we drive up to Glencoe. Here we go down to see our deer at the Kingshouse. The hotel was closed but the deer were there to meet us.
Our lock down freedom day was super and hopefully we can chase this terrible virus of our wonderful planet. Happy travels Dougie
