Another weekend- another day away. Bridge of Orchy
Checked weather forecast - no bad- no rain is good enough for me. We decided to do a bit of walking.
We are on a campaign to get fit for our holiday in Florida.
So walking is a start.
The plan didn`t last long. We got as far as Tyndrum
where we stopped for a roll out of the Real Food Cafe. Love their rolls and sausage. Lorna had the Stornaway black pudding. Energy for our hike. That`s my thoughts anyway.

Our walk was from Bridge of Orchy to Inveroran.
Yes I know we have done this walk many times but it`s perfect exercise.
Walk - it`s a 3 mile. We took about 1.5 hrs to get there. Talking to walkers and stopping for photographs slowed us down a bit.

The scenery was super. The walk is part of the West Highland Way. The views are stunning and the sunshine didn't let us down. Loch Tulla is a photographs dream.
We stopped at the Inveroran Hotel for a refreshment. The hotel is under new management.
We still got the friendly welcome.
Great chatting with the walkers and some of the locals.

After a quick goodbye we head back the way we came. This time the walk was steep at start but we had it easy as walking back down to Bridge of Orchy.
Sad to say the way back we met up with a famous Scottish beastie. The dreaded midge. Nasty little pest
Which is a nightmare for Scottish tourism.
By the time we got to Bridge of Orchy we had been bitten many times. Hey it was worth it.
Another great day on the Scottish hills.
