Glasgow`s top place to stay. An Architectural master piece. As a boy my mother and I would walk through on route to Kelvingrove park. Used to look in the windows and wonder if someone famous lived in there.
The Park district is in the Westend.
In the UK- the west end is normally the most prosperous area.This is to due with the fact the wind blows from the Atlantic/West. Which meant the pollution would blow eastwards.This was true in Glasgow. The wealthy tobacco barons would live in this area.

I850 the land at Woodlands hill was bought.On this land Park Circus was built. Kelvingrove park was laid out around the same time.The world famous gardener Joseph Paxton was responsible for this.
