Falkirk`s Big horse Blog
Wow what a fab night out. Edinburgh`s Travel Massive chapter invited me along to
their trip to the World famous Kelpies. I have visited Andy Scott`s wonderful sculptors a few times but this time was special. 

Big thanks to Neil [a fellow Scotlander] kindly drove me through to Falkirk for the event. When we arrived there the rest of the party had already arrived. They were tucking in to a fabulous buffet. Kindy supplied by the local council.I enjoyed a small glass of wine before we were given a talk all about the Kelpies .

• It took 90 days to build
  
• They both weigh 300 tonnes 
• 30 metres tall.
• 1200 tonnes of steel-reinforced concrete foundations per head.
• 928 unique stainless steel skin-plates
