Oh I love Amsterdam .One of my favourite cities in the World.
Don`t visit if you want a rest. Busy Busy. It has it`s seedy side. Keep to the tourist streets. I have visited many times. Every time I have left wishing I had more time there.
You can walk for miles. Get away from the Buzz. Quiet strolls along the picturesque canals. Stop for lunch and enjoy the canal life.
If you want to party.There are plenty cool bars with music.
The pubs had all kinds of music belting out.From Tony Bennett to Ed Sheeran. Great atmosphere.
There is a dark side to the city.Amsterdam is well known for it`s Sex trade and drugs scene. Ignore and enjoy this crazy city. Hotels are expensive.You may have to take a hotel out of town and travel in. Trains are easy to use.
