Marina Grande is a area of Sorrento
Our favourite part of Sorrento is Marina Grande. It is not really got mass tourism. Is separated from the rest of the city from a promontory on which once stood the house of the nephew of the Emperor Augustus.
Access to the marina is unique and distinctive, because it is through an ancient gate (III century a.c.) which was built using large blocks of limestone.
