We will never forget our time on lake Garda. Limone was our base for ovr visit to Italy`s longest lake. The town hugs onto the mountains on the north-west shore of Lake Garda. Its has narrow cobbled streets. There are brightly coloured houses and shops that sell every kind of Lemon souvenirs.

Renowned for growing lemons and other citrus fruits
Limone” means “lemon” in Italian.There are little old houses,tight alleys,plenty of shops,wee taverns and super restaurants.
We loved taking the ferries to other picturesque towns.It`s a must and great chance to see Lake Garda itself. There is a booking office right where the ferry leaves.At night it`s great to hear the bells of San Benedetto ringing out. Adds to the atmosphere.
Hostaria Al Buongusta was our favourite restaurant.Food was brilliant.The staff were first class.Very friendly with the Italian charm.I recommend it.

Ciclopista del Garda (Garda Cycle Path) We loved our walk on the spectacular promenade overlooking the lake.It`s 50 meters high.Over Lake Garda.

Our Hotel was called Casa Albergo Sorriso. The view from our room was amazing.Breakfast was super too. Below was one of our favourite bars.Hotel Astor.The bar is 5 floors up.Great views.
