Belfast--The capital of Northern Ireland
I have visited the city a few times. The images are from my last visit a couple of years ago.
The first trip was a day trip. I was a wee bit warey.
Had grown up with hearing so much about the troubles but I was pleasantly surprised to see the city had moved on. We walked up the Shankill and walked down the Falls Road. Modern History at its best .

The city is at the mouth of the River Lagan. Open through the North Channel to the Irish Sea and on to the Atlantic.
Titanic Exibition tells the story of the famous liner being built in Belfast during 1900s. Its construction and launch, to its maiden voyage and sadly the disaster.
George Best played football for Manchester United and Northern Ireland. He was a skillful winger. Today he is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. A hero to the people of Belfast.
The Crown Bar was built 1826. It is the most famous pub in Belfast. Really enjoyed a pint there. Robinsons is good too.
