2000--2020
Twenty years on.So much has changed.The world of online travel has moved forward so fast.In 2000 I made my first travel blog/   

website. Walkthewall.com. Travel blog to support my charity trek along the Great Wall of China.A few web pages about our trip to China.Another few about the charity and how I was raising much needed funds.
2002 it was bairdstravel.com .My travels around the world.
This website had the greatest visitors numbers.About 20k a month.The internet had a lot less travel blogs those days and even less travel bloggers. This site was abruptly stop when the    server increased it`s fee by 2000 pounds. Mad rush to get my images saved to my laptop before they pulled the plug.

Great Travel Pictures.com was next. Figures were going down.The world of travel blogging had exploded.So many bloggers. 
2015 -I revamped to GreatTravelimages.com . Most bloggers use WordPress but I chose Weebly. I felt it gave me more scope for my photography.
This website is still with me today. The world of travel blogging has changed.I feel I am traveller with a blog rather than a blogger with a blog.

At 61. I have got to realise that I have no chance of making a living as a travel blogger but I have a website which collects all my travels around the world.
