Hope you have read my Greyhound bus blog all about my trip from Orlando to the 
Southernmost city in the United States-Key West.Well this page is about the bridge.
Or should I say Bridges. 42 to be exact.
The Overseas Highway is 110 miles long.

The Highway follows the Florida East Coast Railroad. 1935 a hurricane damaged the railway so badly it became unusable.
The road was built to replace it.

All images are take from a seat half way up a Greyhound bus .Tinted windows didn`t help either.

Driving southbound on Route 1 from Miami to the Florida Keys, travelers will experience one of the most amazing road trips that the United States has to offer.
