We loved our meeting with the African penguins.
Brief time we had. Was enough to get a good look. The beach is not too far from Capetown. If you had a car you could add it to visit to the Cape of Good Hope.We took a tour which did this.

The African penguin is native to South Africa & Namibia
They are generally found within 40 kilometres of the coast, emerging onto rocky offshore islands or sandy beaches to breed, rest and moult.We really enjoyed our chance to meet these pretty birds.
