The Most Famous Pelican in the World
During our 2016 European cruise we met up with a strange character.
Petros the Pelican. The bird is the mascot of Mykonos .We seen it in a bar right on sea shore. It wanders round that area.
It was a wounded bird adopted by a local in the mid-1950s.Petros the Pelican generated unexpectedly income for his adopted home of Mykonos, Which he was – and still is, through his successors – the beloved is the Island`s mascot.
