Not too far from our base.At least once a month we head to Helensburgh for a lovely walk along the front.This seaside resort is the first town on the loch. Normally we walk as far as the Ardencaple hotel.Which is in Rhu. Now and again we walk further along to the shingle beach and have a look at the lighthouse.

Helensburgh on the Firth of Clyde
So many lovely villages on the banks of the Gareloch. Going anti clock wise round the bay. Shandon,Clynder and Rosneath. All sleepy villages.

Lookout for the Faslane peace camp.It`s is a permanent protest camp dedicated to campaign and carry out direct actions against nuclear weapons Been there since 1982.
