The road to nowhere.
Today we went on a mystery tour.It was my friend`s turn to pick our destination. Me and Mrs B were his victims.
We we did not have a clue where we were going.
9.00 start. All ready bang on time.
We were told that he had taken motorways of the Sat nav. We went for petrol at Drumchapel which means we are normally going east.
After much driving to put us of the scent we were passing by East Kilbride which meant we were going south.

Here we stop for lunch. Bayview Bistro was excellent. We have the toasted sandwiches/chips which did the trick.
Nice wee town famed as Scotland’s National Book Town and is now home to a wide range of bookshops. It is said there is quarter of a million books to choose from, old and new.

The tide was out so never seen the harbour at it`s best.
Nice we seaside village.
We have a drink at The Steam Packet inn.
From the shore you can see the outline of England.
By this time it is getting dark and we head home with a brief stop at the Souter’s Inn Kirkoswald . Built on the site of the old school house where Robert Burns studied in 1775.
Well done Gee Bee was an excellent day out in our homeland.
