St Eulalia festival --Walk of the Giants last Sunday Barcelona

I had the pleasure of watching the St Eulalia parade pass along La Rambla.
Barcelona marks the Feast of St Eulalia by having as winter festival with a big display of folk culture The parade is packed with giants, big-heads, dragons, devils, sardanes (a traditional ring dance), castells (human towers),puntaires (lacemakers) and lots of other figures and activities rooted in tradition. Made our second visit to Barcelona special.
