As  I travel I will capture wild life images.

My wildlife memories. 
Over the last forty years I have collected so many images of beautiful scenery, wonderful countries and amazing landmarks. There is one amazing part of travel I really enjoy. The thrill of seeing wildlife in their own environment. I hope you enjoy finding out about my wildlife encounters.​ 

Boulders beach South Africa

South Africa had it all. Even penguins on Boulders bay. My memories of Africa will live with me forever. They will never leave me. Our ​Safari was heaven for us animal lovers. Every second was amazing. Very expensive but what cost can you put on the thrill of seeing animals you may never see again.

Ostrich of Africa.

Although all birds have wings, a few species can't fly. They are warm-blooded vertebrates (vertebrates have backbones) and are the only animals with feathers. This is the kind of knowledge gain as you travel.

Camels of Cairo

One of my great wild life adventures. Trotting through the streets of Giza.Heading across the desert to finally see one of the man made wonders of the World.The pyramids. 

Pelican of Key west

The brown pelican is the smallest of the eight species of pelicans and one of only two species that dives into the water to feed on small fish. Common in the Florida Keys .

The humpback has a distinctive body shape, with long pectoral fins and a knobbly head.

 We were so lucky. When walking along the seafront we witnessed  a Humpback whale. We had seen it further over in the bay while we were walking from the Harpa concert hall to the Lighthouse. We saw it from across the bay. A whale watching boat started to chase. After a while the ship returned to the harbour. So we thought that was it.
​Then we saw the whale spouting air. Getting closer and closer.
Didn`t really see it for a while. Then out of nowhere the whale
swam closed to where we were and jumped out of the water.
A car braked and two well dressed men jumped out. They shouted
did you see that. A whale- a whale. By this time Mrs B was jumping up and down and the passengers in a sightseeing bus were banging the window. 
The Humpback swam close to the shore. Then disappeared. After a while we saw the whale futher out in the bay.
​The two gentlemen got back in their car and drove away and we kept looking until it was time to go to the hotel.

Caribbean mossie s

Nasty mozzies have spoilt both holidays to the Caribbean.
Barbados--- Yvonne my daughter and I ended up in hospital.
Antigua--- I ended in hospital with selulitis.
​We returned winter of 2023 .Mrs B got a few bites but not a lot.

Bears of Jasper Canada

Wonderful Jasper. Beautiful town in Canada. Bear central. We seen the black bears cross the street in front of the bus. We even stupidly walked up Bear hill before we knew it was known by that name. Every animal mentioned on this page has a special webpage.   

Pelican of Mykonos

Petros is a great white pelican, who is the official mascot of the Greek island of Mykonos. Tame but wild.

Ostrich of South Africa

Mammals include humans and all other animals that are warm-blooded vertebrates (vertebrates have backbones) with hair. They feed their young with milk and have a more well-developed brain than other types of animals.  ​

Every extra person on average:

• eat hundreds of animals each year
• displace and therefore cause the death of local wild animals through habitat loss
• drive animal species toward extinction by contributing to the climate crisis
• ​Hopefully the governments of our planet can get together  save our planet for future generation.
