Lower Largo Aug 2019
We decided to take a weekend in our homeland.I struggled to get somewhere to stay.In August most of the accommodation in Scotland is fully booked. After a long search I found a hotel in the Kingdom of Fife. The seaside village of Lower Largo.

We stayed at the Crusoe Hotel right at the small harbour.
The rooms were fine and food was superb.I had Salmon for dinner which was delicious. A hearty breakfast was served at the Castaway Restaurant.
The hotel has a Crusoe theme throughout.
The Railway Inn across the road has a special atmosphere. It has a great collection of gins.

The Keil Burn flows through the village. It ends up in the Firth of Forth.Impressive arched bridge stands proudly over the Keil. Sadly railway has gone for ever.
