Our first road trip for a year due to the horrific pandemic. Corona virus has stopped so many adventures but we are still alive.So many people have not been so fortunate.We have all have had the vaccine.

Loch Chon
Always think that the beautiful Loch Chon would fit into Canada`s wonderful Rockie mountains range.We left base just after 11.00 Headed straight to Aberfoyle. If you have read my past posts you will know all about the route.We have travelled it some many times. Right through the town and onwards to the beutiful loch Chon. Stunning.
The road to Loch Katrine
After lake Chon we get back in the car we head for Loch Katrine.

The village of Stronachlachar on the banks of Loch Katrine. The steamer Walter Scott stops here on his journey around Katrine. Tea room was closed due to the Covid restrictions. The Inversnaid hotel shut too.

Finally we reach the village of Inversnaid on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. William Wordsworth and Queen Victoria at have been inspired by its tranquillity.
