Been a couple of times now to Vancouver Island. First time was a day trip from Vancouver.
Last time -- was this year`s cruise.The ship docked 20 mins [walk] from the capital. We took the small water Taxi. Strange looking wee boat but great way to get downtown.

The Butchart Gardens
The Butchart Gardens has a wonderful floral display near Victoria on Vancouver Island. The gardens receive over a million visitors each year.Well worth the visit.

The Inner Harbour is Victoria's primary tourist neighborhood. The harbor itself – home to various fishing boats and colorful floating homes – is framed by wide pedestrian streets, often frequented by street vendors and buskers. The Inner Harbour also hosts some of Victoria's most popular attractions, including the Royal British Columbia Museum and the Parliament Buildings.
