Gorner Glacier --The third longest glacier in Switzerland
WOW -Amazing view from the Swiss mountain-- The Gornergrat. We took the train up from Zermatt. The Gornergrat express takes around 35 minutes and when we got to the top- we got a 360° panoramic view of some of the best scenery I have ever witnessed.I have had a lifetime of staring at wonderful mountain ranges.

Photography cannot do this Glacier justice. It is an enormous mass of ice and snow. When up there look out for the Monte Rosa 4634m, Liskamm 4527m, Castor 4228m, Pollux 4092m, Breithorn 4164m and also the famous Matterhorn 4478m all on its own. Stunning mountains.
For less crowds and good light for pictures, head up the railway first thing in the morning! The first train leaves Zermatt GGB at 7am, with the last train leaving Gornergrat Station at 5:18pm.
