Another great night in Scotland`s capital. This time I was along at the Britannia.Wonderful seeing the most famous ship in the world. It served the Royal Family for over 40 years. The Britannia was built in John Browns ship yard in Clydebank. Not far from my home.Sadly the yard is gone. It was launched 1953 and travelled over 1 million miles.
The Royal family used the ship for many state visits.
This is where the Royal Honeymoons took place.
The Britannia is now docked at Leith docks. Now a great tourist attraction.

I was at the Britannia for a Travel Massive event.Big thanks to Lesley,Katy and Aileen for all their hard work in arranging such a special night.
The raffle raised £2.795 for Bloodwise and Maggie's Edinburgh!
Wonderful amount for two great charties.
I won a Lunch for two at the Gleneagles Hotel.
Can`t wait to enjoy that visit.
