Passau is a city in Lower Bavaria, Germany. Well worth a few hours of your time. Passau's population is about 50,000, of whom about 12,000 are students at the University of Passau. The city is located about 2 hours east of Munich. We visited when on our German/Czech road trip.
Passau, which for centuries was an important trading centre, especially for Bohemian salt, central Europe's 'white gold'.
