The famous city on a Island. The end of the beautiful Florida Keys It's also Florida's southernmost point, lying roughly 90 miles north of Cuba.People look to see if they can see the Island. No luck there.

How to get there-- We took the Greyhound bus there
and Silver Airways back.Which was good fun. The bus was a long journey but enjoyable. Flight was about an hour. The Overseas Highway is the way to go by car links all the towns in the Keys with mainland Florida.
3 1/2 hours from Miami. Long-term parking may be expensive.

The home of Hemingway -- 907 Whitehead Street. One USA's most famous authors.Look out for the lookalikes. So many on the Island. They have silver beard`s just like the great man himself.
Many different kinds of bars with live music every night. We sat and had a beer or a cool cocktail listening to all kinds of music.
