Skagway
Our ship docked right next to the train station in downtown Skagway. The town has a cowboy feel to it. With ranch style shops and hotels. Skagway has a population of less than a thousand.
It is in the northern terminus of the Alaska Marine Highway System. It started to grow during the Yukon gold rush in the late 1800`s, and now lives entirely on tourism.
