Strasbourg is the capital and has one France’s most beautiful Gothic cathedral. Also famous for having the European Parliament.
Colmar is located on the Alsatian Wine Route and considers itself to be the capital of Alsatian wine. The old town has been left untouched for hundreds of years and looks like a theme park, except the timber houses and palaces are completely real and original.
Riquewihr was one of the few towns in the area not to be badly damaged during World War II.
