Our bus left Glasgow bang on time.It should only takes 1 hour and 40 mins to reach Dundee. Just watch out some take longer.We only stopped at Perth.Which was good.
Weather on route was not perfect.Even some snow at the side of the road but by the time we got of the bus it was fine.Dry but dull

Always enjoy my time in the City of Discovery. From the bus station we take a short walk down to the riverside.This gives us our first view of the V&A building.It opened on 15th September 2018. An international centre for design for Scotland
We have a quick look into V and A.We decide to return later in the day.
Now is my highlight of the day.We walk over the Tay bridge.The river Tay is the longest river in Scotland.It flows from Ben Lui to the Firth of Forth.It was my highlight because I love doing different things.New idea`s-New buzzes.

River Tay
The walk is easy.Takes about 30mins. Only downside is the pedestrian walkway is in the middle of the bridge.Not that good for photography. At the other side is the lovely town of Newport on Tay.
After our walk over the bridge we have wander through the town.We ask a local where we could get something to eat.
He tell us to head to the small harbour.
His suggestion was Kitschnbake.
Great wee place to get a homemade lunch.
Loved my B.L.A.T--Bacon-Lettuce-avocado and tomato.After the food we went next head next door for a drink.Brig of Tay is a horrible place.
The pub had no heating.Beer was poor and owner has lost the plot.Coming out of the pub we run for the bus.Dodging the walk back over the bridge.

If you asked me what I thought of the place I would say the building is far better from the outside.It`s free to enter.Which is good.Design is not my scene so am not the person to ask.We bought tickets to the special exhibition- Ocean Liners-Speed and Style.Which was good.Worth the tenner to get in?.Not sure.

Next door is the Discovery: Captain Scott's remarkable Antarctic expedition vessel.
Now this is something special.I have visited many times and may return in the future.

After the water front we walk into town.Mrs B goes shopping and I go for a beer in the Bank Bar.Which is not a bad place for a drink.After a few beers to head to the bus station and home. In Glasgow we have dinner in Ask Italian.Really good.
