Scotland and the rest of my travels around the World

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. --------------------
Travelling. It leaves you speechless, Then turns you into a storyteller.

I am looking at extending my wildlife adventures. Watch this website.
Finally got round to writing about one of the man made wonders of the world. Here is my time at Egypt's most famous tourist attraction. The Pyramids.
Built 4,500 years ago. They have lasted well.I was joined by my brother in law- Eric.We had travelled a lot together but this trip was special.
We arrived at the Pyramids by camel. Our Taxi driver took up to a family member`s house. He gave us a cup of tea while our new mode of transport trotted up the road. It was a experience I will never forget till I die.
Camel is not the most comfortable ride but all good fun. The word "pyramid" comes from the Greek word pyramis which meant "wheat cake."
The Great Sphinx of Giza
The Egyptians invented mummification, which is a process of preserving a body.Sphinx is a creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human.
The Great Pyramid
2 million limestone and granite blocks were used to build the Great Pyramid of Giza. Each piece of masonry weighed about 2.5 tons. Egyptians built these structures for burial chambers for the Pharaohs. They were filled with treasure for the Pharaoh's afterlife. Almost allpyramids were robbed of their treasures by 1000 B.C.
There were traps and curses put in the tombs to keep robbers out.
Another place I found while in primary school.Reading ladybird books have inspired me to travel. Hope you take the time to check out more of my pyramid images.
