We took a Follow me excursion. They have tours of the special
places in Portugal. We decided to take the Best of the East tour.
We started our tour of Eastern Algarve with a visit to the capital of the region. Faro has a 13th century old city centre. We had plenty of time

After Faro we drove to the originally Moorish city of Olhão, an important fishing town, and its well-known local fish market.

Stop three is a visit to Vila Real Sto Antonio. We had visited the port many years ago and it was great to see the ferry we had taken to Spain.

We continue to the historic town of Tavira.This our last stop.
It has a Roman bridge, typical cobbled streets and many churches.It is where Gilão River meets the Atlantic Ocean in Tavira.
