Campsie Roadtrip
Today we headed to Fintry inn for lunch. Fintry is a small village under the Campsie Fells. Nice place.
I enjoyed the Haggis.
In the bar I asked a local where we could get a good view of Carron Valley Reservoir.He said drive up the Denny road.
We were not disappointed. Great views.
On the way back we stopped in Kippen. The Cross keys is a special place.Made a new friend Jenny. A brown Labrador. We were told that she was the pub`s dog. She was part of any deal to sell the bar. I enjoyed the keys. Next up we were met by a heron who flew in front of the car. Then we stopped to enjoy the cool rainbow.
Great time was had by all. I was surprised how much I enjoyed our wee drive to the country.

Beautiful scenery not too far from Fintry. On the Denny road. Rain was coming never made it to Meikle Bin.
Known for it`s panoramic views.
There is a lochside hide to search for the wildlife.
