Robert Stevenson, was a Scottish civil engineer and famed designer and builder of lighthouses.Lismore was one of his projects.1833 His family`s lighthouse engineering began with grandfather- Robert Stevenson.
My favourite lighthouse can be seen on the ferry from Oban to Mull. Standing proud on western coast.

Neist Point is located on the westernmost point of the Isle of Skye. This point is regarded as the best place on Skye to see whales, dolphins, porpoises and basking shark. The sea around the point is teeming with sea-birds including gannets, black guillemots, razorbills and shags.
Covesea Skerries Lighthouse was designed by Alan Stevenson was member of the famous 'Stevensons' family who over a period of 150 years built most of the lighthouses around Scotland’s coast.
