Another Saturday-Another roadtrip
We set off at 10.The problem was the main route[ A8/M8]to the east was closed at Baillieston.
So we decide to go southwards.We ended up in the Borders area of Scotland.We made North Berwick around Lunch time.

So we decide to go southwards.We ended up in the Borders area of Scotland.We made North Berwick around Lunch time.
We had lunch in the Ship inn.Hamburger was super.After lunch we walked along the sandy beach.Great views over to the Bass rock.We had a browse round the Scottish Seabird Centre. Great place to spot the Gannets driving for their dinner.
There is also a great selection of shops, cafes and bars, Golfers can enjoy the world famous course.
The return trip went drove the Edinburgh bypass. Then headed north with a stop for a drink in Lennoxtown.

The Sandy beach was a great place for a winters walk
