We docked at Fort de France. Very nice place. We had a stroll round the town after our excursion. Glad we did that.We enjoyed our walk into its spice markets and enjoyed the local food stalls.

Port-de-France is the capital and the main port.
St. Louis Cathedral is the highest building in the capital.

We were driven right to the south of the island.One of the most spectacular beaches on the island. Plage des Salines.

Le Diamant Beach, Martinique Picture perfect. Long stretch of golden sands. Sunworshippers paradise.
On the way back we were given a tour of the Banana plantation which got a bit boring. They should have cut it down to about ten minutes.

Back to the capital for a beer and a wander.Carib was very good.
