Rome --Our base
We took the train from the Airport right into the main station.It was the fast train which costs a bit more.Our hotel was not too far,First night in Italy`s capital we went out for a pizza.The pub was showing football which was a bonus.The Germans in the bar were not happy cause their team got beat.

Up early to head to the port of Cititavecchia. This time we took the slow train.Much cheaper but a bit slower.You get your ticket at the newspaper shop not the station office.Through customs and up to our room.

Day 1 Mount Etna
Early morning rise-Huge breakfast and off the ship to catch our tour bus.Today we are of the Sicily.
The volcano I had visited before.Many years before.So I fancied giving it another look.We were driven to Silvener crater.

Day2 Mykonos
One of the many highlights of our cruise.We docked not too far from the main town.The walk took us about ten minutes to get to the centre of the town.First stop was to see the famous windmills.Was not disappointed.Stunning.After that it was back to the town for lunch.

Day 3 Kusadasi
This probably our worse port of call.Just could not get into it.Walk along the front.Which was nice.Then a walk through the Bazaar,Same patter as we had in Marmaris.

Day 4 Santorini
My highlight of the cruise.Stunning setting.White washed building and some with blue roofs.You take the lift to top of the cliff.We thought it was cruel to take the donkeys[Mules].At the top we walked left to the bus station.Along the road we met an English couple.We decided to share a Taxi.We decided to meet up at one and share a cab back.

Day 5 Corinth Canal
We decide against Athens.We had been there before.We had seen the canal on the TV and decided to opt for that tour.

We took the train from Naples to the seaside resort of Sorrento.
