What a lovely day-What a lovely day out.Today we headed to Coulport on Loch Long .
The village is next to the Royal Naval Armament depot. Beautiful part of the country.
We left just after lunch. We were going to stop at Helensburgh but the good weather had brought out the sun-worshipers. Too busy.

We drove on through Rhu. Past the Peace camp. Faslane Peace Camp was set up in 1982 as a permanent base for protests against the Faslane Naval Base.
Garelochhead was next up. Mambeg then Clynder.

Next was Roseneath. We stop here for about 30 mins to enjoy the weather and the view.Really would have enjoyed a beer at the local bar but this trip was during the lock down. Bars and restaurants were all shut. Finally we arrived in Coulport. Great views over loch Long. You can see the village of Ardentinny in the distance.
We took the M O D road home.Which saved us a lot of time but we missed out on the lovely villages we seen going.Stopped at Helensburgh on the way home.
The crowds had gone home by now.
Really enjoy our road trip to Loch Long. These memories will last longer than our Lock down sun tan.
